Last week was a great nutrition week. YAY! Exercise not so much. Want to know something? I’m ok with that. They say 80-90% of weigh loss is in what you eat. So, if that’s true I had my priorities straight. I doesn’t mean that I didn’t work out. It means I worked out 3 times rather then 6. This week ended and I’m pleased to say that I worked out more but experienced weakness with a few Christmas treats given to me as gifts. Again, I’m ok with this! I’m not perfect, nor do I intend to be. Every day I fail I simply need to remind myself. TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER.
Some days I want my success and victory in this area to happen after a week of healthy eating and 3 workouts. But that’s not how it works. I’m reminded of this when I read the following:
“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait for it . It will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” Habakkuk 2:3
