Double edged Sword
Dressed in white He stands between and my accuser.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this” He whispers
He draws His sword.
It’s sharper then any double edged sword.
My enemy trembles as light shines in,
he becomes weaker –
he’s unable to attack.
My Defender rises as
Mercy meets judgment
Light meets darkness
Love meets hate
Righteousness meets sin
Life meets death.
No longer weighed down
No longer unloved or unwanted
No longer alone
Though thoughts and actions are of the disapproving kind
there is an unfailing, never ending love that loves deeper and stronger
He loves with a double edged sword
