God has not forgotten you

There’s a moment in time where we realize we need more than what we have, and I’m not talking about materialistic things. I’m talking about encouragement, courage, and bravery. Some of you might turn to a friend or spouse in that moment. I was in that moment recently and chose to turn to Jesus. I turned to the word of God.

I know His word never fails. It brings life and I knew in that moment it would bring me what I needed. I know his Word always brings peace. I know this because I’ve experienced it time and time again and in that moment I needed peace, I needed clarity and direction.

“Pay attention, O Isreal for you are my servant. I, the LORD, made you, and I will not forget to help you. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭44‬:‭21‬ NLT)

That’s the Word that brought me peace and comfort. He will not forget to help me.
How often we forget. We easily forget that God is who he says he is and is able to do what he says he will do. When he promises that he will not forget to help us, that’s excactly what he will do – He will help us.
That verse tells us to pay attention. I wonder how many times He’s made a way and I looked or walked in the opposite direction. I’m sure there’s been times when the solution to my problem was right in front of me and I missed it. So after reading that verse, I began to think about the weeks prior to that day. Oh man! It was like I was putting a puzzle together.
God doesn’t miss a thing. He knows what we need and when we need it. Right then and there I needed clarity! I thought I needed peace. But He knew better. You may be in that moment needing some peace, courage or strength and at the perfect moment His Spirit will come and give you what you want. Better yet, He’ll give you what you need. Battles aren’t easy to win, but with God it makes it possible.
Pay attention, because God is ready to give you peace, courage, strength and what ever else you need
